I love the Gospel of John. The opening verses of chapter one are at once poetic and sublime, simple yet profound: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God….In him was life; and the life was the light of men. To each of us on this journey home, John’s powerful witness of the Savior remains a guide as we come to realize the reality of it for ourselves.
